Yunbao VPNVerify the extension identity
Check publisher, official source and permission explanation. A VPN label does not make an extension an official Yunbao product. Avoid unknown extension packages sent in chats and keep browser protection enabled.
Site access differs from proxy access
Chrome allows applicable extensions access on click, selected sites or all sites. Google notes that lower-level VPN or proxy settings are not necessarily controlled by site permissions. Check proxy state separately after limiting site access.
Compare one extension at a time
On a personal device, record current states and disable one suspect proxy extension at a time while testing the same page. Restore needed settings afterward; involve administrators for managed extensions. Avoid stacking VPN extensions.
